যেমন নাম তেমনই এর বাহার । কম দেখাশোনা করে নিজের বাগানকে যদি রঙিন করে তুলতে চান তাহলে এই বাগানবিলাসই হল আদর্শ ফুলগাছ । বাগানবিলাস নামটার সাথে হয়তো সবাই পরিচিত নাও হতে পারে ?
সাধারণত এই ফুলকে আমরা কাগজফুল বলেই জানি অথবা বোগেনভেলিয়া নামেও কেউ কেউ চিনি । আজ এই ফুলের সম্পর্কে কিছু তথ্য আপনাদের সাথে শেয়ার করবো ।
ইতিহাস
এই গাছকে ইংরেজিতে বোগেনভেলিয়া ( Bougainvillea ) নামে ডাকা হয় ।
এছাড়াও নানা দেশে বিভিন্ন নামে একে ডাকা হয়ে থাকে।
এই গাছের উৎপত্তি দক্ষিণ আমেরিকা মহাদেশ থেকে।
সাধারণত আমেরিকার মানুষ তাদের বাগান ও বাড়ির গেট সাজানোর জন্য এই গাছ লাগাতেন ।
এই ফুলগাছটিকে প্রথম আবিষ্কার করেন ( Philibert Commerson ও Louis Antoine de Bougainville ) নাম দুই বিজ্ঞানী ।যার মধ্যে একজনের নামে এই গাছের নামকরণ করা হয় ( Bougainvillea ) এবং এই ফুলগাছটিকে প্রথম জনসমক্ষে আনেন ( Antoine Laurent de Jussieu ) ১৭৮৯ খ্রিস্টাব্দে ।

এটি একটি গুল্ম বা লতা প্রজাতির গাছ ।
সমগ্র পৃথিবীতে এর প্রায় ২০ রকম প্রজাতি দেখতে পাওয়া যায় ।
এবং এর মধ্যে তিনশর ও বেশি বৈচিত্র খুঁজে পাওয়া যায় ।
এরা লম্বায় ২ ফুট থেকে প্রায় ৪০ ফুট পর্যন্ত বাড়তে পারে ।
এটি যেকোনো মাটি ও জলবায়ুতে বেড়ে উঠতে পারে ।
এদের অধিকাংশ প্রজাতির গাছের মধ্যে নানান আকারের শক্ত কাঁটা হয়ে থাকে ।
বাগানবিলাসের খুব সুন্দর বনসাই ও বানানো যায় তাই বনসাই প্রেমীদের জন্য এটি খুব জনপ্রিয় একটি গাছ ।
এর ফুল খুবই উজ্জ্বল রঙের হয়ে থাকে । একটা কথা জানিয়ে রাখি আমরা আসলে যেটাকে ফুল বলে ভাবি সেটা হল ফুলকে সংরক্ষিত করে রাখার পাপড়ি । এই রঙিন পাপড়ির মধ্যে যেটা সাদা বা হলুদ রঙের ছোট বৃত্ত থাকে সেটাই হল আসল ফুল ।
*_রোপন প্রক্রিয়া_*
এই গাছের খুব বেশি উর্বরতার প্রয়োজন হয়না , যেকোনো পরিস্থিতিতেই ঠিক বেঁচে থাকে ।
এক কথায় একে দীর্ঘজীবী ফুলগাছ বলা যেতে পারে ।
তবুও গাছ বসানোর সময় একটু ভালো মাটি তৈরী করে বসালে ফুল টা বেশি পাওয়া যায় ।
আসুন জেনে নিই মাটি কিভাবে তৈরি করবো ।

হাড়গুড়ো ২০০ গ্রাম প্রতি টব
চাষযোগ্য যেকোনো মাটি নেওয়া যেতে পারে ।
সারের মধ্যে কেঁচোসার , পাতাসার , কিংবা গোবরসার ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে ।
হাড়গুড়ো যদি না পাওয়া যায় তাহলে ডিমের খোলা গুঁড়ো ৪-৫ চামচ দিতে পারেন ।
এগুলোকে ভালো করে মিশিয়ে নিন , তৈরী আপনার মাটি ।
নতুন গাছ লাগানোর জন্য ৭-৮ ইঞ্চি টব যথেষ্ট ।
প্রথমে টবটিকে নিন । টবের নিচে যে ফুটো আছে তার ওপরে একটি খোলামকুচি রেখে তার ওপর কিছুটা বালি দিয়ে তবেই তৈরী করা মাটি দেবেন । .. এতে কি হয় অত্যাধিক জল সহজেই বেরিয়ে যায় আর আপনার গাছের সুসাস্থ্য বজায় থাকে ।
*_দেখাশোনা_*
এই গাছে কীটপতঙ্গ লাগেনা তাই ওষুধ দেবার প্রয়োজন পড়েনা ।
শুধু ১০-১৫ দিন ছাড়া একটু করে খোল পচানো জল দিয়ে দেবেন, ১০ দিন ছাড়া gogreen mixed fertilizer দিয়ে দেবেন।আর কিছু লাগবে না ।
মাঝে মাঝে এর একটু ছাঁটাই করে দিতে পারেন ।
যখনি দেখবেন গাছের ডাল বড় হয়ে গেছে তখনি এর ছাঁটাই করতে পারেন ।
এই গাছটিকে সম্পূর্ণ রোদে রাখবেন ।

While some might not be familiar with the name "Baganbilash," most people recognize it as the Paper Flower or Bougainvillea. Today, I will share some interesting facts and tips about this flower.
History
In English, this plant is known as Bougainvillea, though it is called by various names in different countries. It originated in the continent of South America. Historically, people in America planted these to decorate their gardens and house gates.
The plant was first discovered by two scientists, Philibert Commerson and Louis Antoine de Bougainville. It was named "Bougainvillea" after the latter. It was later introduced to the public by Antoine Laurent de Jussieu in 1789.

Planting Process
This plant does not require highly fertile soil; it survives in almost any condition. It is a long-lived plant. However, if you prepare the soil well before planting, you will get more blooms.
Soil Mix Preparation:

Soil: 50%

Fertilizer: 50% (Vermicompost, leaf mold, or decomposed cow dung)

Bone Meal: 200g per pot (If bone meal is unavailable, you can use 4-5 spoons of crushed eggshells).
Steps:

Any cultivable soil can be used. Mix the soil, fertilizer, and bone meal/eggshells thoroughly.

A 7-8 inch pot is sufficient for a new plant.

Place a piece of broken clay pot over the drainage hole at the bottom.

Add a layer of sand over the piece of clay before filling it with the soil mix. This ensures easy drainage of excess water, keeping your plant healthy.
Maintenance

Pest Control: These plants are generally pest-resistant, so pesticides are usually unnecessary.

Feeding: Apply liquid mustard cake fertilizer every 10–15 days. Additionally, apply "gogreen mixed fertilizer" every 10 days. That is all it needs!

Pruning: Prune the branches occasionally whenever they grow too long to maintain the shape.
